Volunteers with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program were recognized Tuesday with a luncheon at Iolas Pizza Hut.
Sandy Haggard, RSVP director, recognized Robin Withrow, Tom and Jeri Waters, Bob and Juanell Garrett, Lois Bradford, Carol George and Lorene Butler.
Lori Holman of Hope Unlimited, and an RSVP volunteer coordinator, was the guest speaker.
More than 200 senior volunteers participate in the four-county region that RSVP covers. RSVP receives federal funding under the Corporation for National and Community Service Senior Corps Program. The local program is sponsored by Neosho County Community College in Chanute.
