Iola Amateur Radio Club members discussed plans for Field Day, June 29-30, at their March 14 meeting.
Due to winter weather, spring cleaning around the clubs repeater site will be done at a later date.
Gale Jeffers reported the radio club gathered 550 pounds of paper in the March paper drive.
Several members attended the Storm Fury on the Plains storm spotter training session on March 11 at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center.
Following the meeting, Jim Hixon successfully passed his radio technician class exam.
Mike Myer and Stan Grigsby helped administer the text.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 1 at Iola City Hall.
