Chase Riebel and Matthew Bazil have both earned licenses after passing their technician class exams at a special meeting of the Iola Amateur Radio Club Saturday at Tina’s Cafe in Gas.
The radio club then gathered again Monday at Tina’s for its regular monthly meeting.
Club members will set up an IARC booth this weekend at the Allen County Fair.
Members paid tribute to Keith Farmer, who died Saturday.
The radio club’s next meeting will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 14 at Tina’s.
