The regular monthly meeting of the Prairie Dell 4-H Club was called to order on Aug. 6 at Heartland Meadows by Brandon McKarnin, vice president.
Club members answered roll call by telling the club how many ribbons they won at the Allen County Fair. Special committees reported on the club awards received for the club hay bale decoration, club billboard and club foods table.
Parliamentary procedure was led by Emilia Wilkerson and Brandon McKarnin to discuss the importance of the call to order and the adjournment to the 4-H meeting.
Club members circulated around Heartland Meadows and shared their fair projects and talked about their 4-H work with the residents.
The next meeting will be Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at Riverside Park Community Building. Talks will be given by Katie Weide, Peyton Weast, Ethan Weide, Kahlan Roloff and Henry Wicoff. Members interested in working on the next years program plan will meet before the meeting.
