Arrest reported
Iola police officers arrested Helen Roberts for suspicion of domestic battery March 12 after an incident in the 100 block of McGuire Drive.
Theft reported
Iola Walmart employees reported a pair of thefts Saturday. Suspects are being sought for each incident.
Money stolen
Eve Ebner told Iola police officers Friday that funds were stolen from her bank account.
In a separate incident March 10, Peggy Strong told officers her bank account, too, had money stolen.
Driver cited in crash
Iola police officers cited Cheyenne Harris for inattentive driving and having no vehicle insurance after Harris reportedly backed her vehicle into another parked vehicle in the 100 block of East Jackson Avenue Thursday.
Hit and run reported
An unknown motorist backing from a driveway at 108 S. Third St. struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Justice Wilson the morning of March 7, Iola police officers reported.
The other driver left without reporting the accident.
Guard rail hit
Officers said a vehicle, perhaps a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, struck a guardrail at Iola’s Riverside Park March 13, but left the scene without reporting the accident.
Pickup struck
Suzanne R. Hobbs was backing in the alley just west of the 200 block of South Sycamore Street when she struck a pickup driven by Mark J. Waggoner.
Neither driver was injured.
