Arrest reported

Iola police officers arrested Christopher Trautloff, Iola, for suspicion of domestic battery Wednesday in the 400 block of North Cottonwood Street.

Chantal Trester, Iola, was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery Wednesday in the 2900 block of Cedarbrook Drive.

Car struck

Martha A. Fitzmaurice, 83, was stopped on U.S. 54 at the State Street stoplight when her car was struck from behind by an unknown motorist Wednesday.

The other driver left the scene when the light turned green and did not stop, Iola police officers said.

Fitzmaurice was not injured.

Winch stolen

Mitch Sigg told Iola police officers Tuesday morning a winch was stolen from a trailer at his car lot on the east edge of Iola. The winch was valued at $500.

Chainsaw taken

Travis Walters reported a black Husqvarna chainsaw was stolen from his pickup Wednesday in the 200 block of South State Street.

Vehicles collide

Chasidy L. Miller, 21, was northbound on Cottonwood Street Monday, when her car stuck a westbound pickup driven by Alvin O. Lilly, 90.

Neither driver was hurt.
