Arrests reported

A traffic stop Thursday evening at the intersection of Douglas and First streets led to the arrests of Dale Easley, 60, and Kevin Runer, 58, both of Colony, for suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Easley also faces charges of driving while suspended (third offense) and illegal registration, officers said.

Zephrey Doolittle, 26, Bronson, was arrested Thursday morning for suspicion of disorderly conduct after Iola officers were called to Allen County Regional Hospital.

Jacob Heubach and Joseph Heubach were arrested for suspicion of domestic battery Monday in the 700 block of East Lincoln Street.

Officers arrested Garret Tomlinson, 24, Chanute, for suspicion of domestic battery April 7 after police were called to a disturbance in the 700 block of Wilson Lane.

Gasoline drive-off reported

Pump ‘N Pete’s employees reported a motorist drove off without paying for gasoline April 9.

Parked vehicle hit

An unknown motorist drove off without reporting an accident April 3 in the 200 block of South Walnut Street. Iola police officers said the truck was owned by Sarina M. Dyche.

Air conditioner struck

Iola police officers said Dallas Uitts, 19, was backing from a driveway Monday at 818 N. Sycamore St., when the pickup he was driving struck a window air conditioner unit owned by Michael C. McGie.

Fans stolen

Alice Sloan told officers Thursday somebody stole two fans from her residence in the 200 block of North Third Street.
