Arrest reported

Iola police officers arrested Matric Scott, 19, Chanute, for suspicion of felony interference with law enforcement and four outstanding warrants. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of South Buckeye Street.

Wrecks reported

Kelsey R. Morrison, 18, was southbound in the 2600 block of Northrup Drive Feb. 1, when her car left the roadway and struck a utility box. She was unhurt.

Patrick G. Martin, 54, was southbound in the 10 block of Davis Street Thursday morning when he struck a utility meter with his truck. He was uninjured.

Wallet stolen

Catherine Miller, 21, Iola, told officers Wednesday morning her wallet had been stolen from the 200 block of North Second Street.

Phone taken

Iolan Angel Kilbury told officers Tuesday a cell phone had been stolen in the 100 block of White Boulevard. A suspect was identified. A report has been forwarded to the city attorney, officers said.

Bicycle found

Levi Martin told police officers Thursday a bicycle was found at his residence in the 600 block of North Kentucky Street. The green womens bike can be claimed at the Iola Police Department.

Damage reported

Officers fielded a report of criminal damage Monday in the 800 block of North State Street.
