Arrests reported
Payton Shaw was arrested by Iola police officers Saturday in the 300 block of South Washington Avenue for suspicion of domestic battery.
Officers arrested Christina Gideon of Iola April 1 for suspicion of possessing alcohol as a minor during a traffic stop on North Washington Avenue.
Derrick Miller, Iola, was arrested April 1 for suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 700 block of West Madison Avenue.
A report of a male yelling at a child in the 500 block of East Lincoln Street March 31 led to the arrest of Austintino F. Martin, 22, Iola, for suspicion of domestic battery, criminal restraint, criminal deprivation of property and endangering a child, Iola police officers said.
Bryant Dennis was arrested March 28 in the 200 block of South Tennessee Street for suspicion of disorderly conduct in a domestic setting, officers said.
Home entered
Levi Boan told Iola police officers Wednesday somebody entered his property in the 700 block of North Washington Avenue and damaged his swimming pool and trampoline sometime overnight Tuesday.
The report came after a large wind storm occurred the same night.
Vehicles collide
Tyler L. Erb was northbound in the 200 block of South State Street March 25 when he veered right, striking a northbound car driven by Gabrielle S. Ahumada, Iola police officers reported.
Neither driver was injured, nor were their passengers.
Ring stolen
Dorothy West told Iola police officers March 27 an unknown female stole a ring from her March 27 in the 600 block of East Garfield Street.
An investigation continues.
