Sexual assault reported
Iola police officers are requesting sexual assault charges following an incident Sunday in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.
Information regarding the incident has been forwarded to Allen County Attorney Jerry Hathaway.
The suspect’s name has not been released.
Press box burglarized
Iola police officers were called to the Riverside Park football stadium Monday afternoon after discovery of a burglary in the press box.
Several items were taken, officers said.
There also was damage to several locations in the stadium.
Keys stolen
Iola police officers were told Monday that keys had been stolen from JW Auto Cars in the 400 block of North State Street. A suspect has been identified.
Student injured
An Iola Middle School student was struck by another student, causing injury, Iola police officers were told Monday.
An investigation continues.
Driver cited
Iola police officers cited Ediberto Ramirez for driving without a valid license Friday in the 800 block of East Street.
