Vehicle hits trailer
Steven M. Heslop was merging into the center westbound lane on U.S. 54 when his sport utility vehicle collided with a trailer being towed by Wyatt D. Logan on the morning of Nov. 23, Iola police officers said.
Neither driver was injured in the wreck, which occurred at U.S. 54’s intersection with Elm Street.
Arrest reported
Iola police officers arrested Jon Reed Sunday in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive for suspected violation of a protection order and interfering with law enforcement.
Bike stolen
Matthew Thyer told Iola officers Monday somebody stole an Incognito brand bicycle from the 10 block of North Second Street. The theft occurred sometime Sunday or Monday, Thyer said.
Morphine stolen
Deborah Weston told officers Monday that morphine pills had been stolen from her residence in the 800 block of Meadowbrook Road East.
