Pair arrested
Iola police officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at 604 S. Walnut St.
While there, officers arrested Thomas Smith, 51, Iola, for suspected possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bryson Baker, 21, Iola, was arrested for suspected distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, distributing drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a weapon.
Citation issued
Iola police officers cited Clarence A. Garber Wednesday for suspected possession of marijuana in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.
Vehicles damaged
A vehicle owned by G. Sneed was vandalized sometime between 2:15 and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, while it was parked in the 2500 block of North State Street, officers said.
Also Wednesday, Jerred Finley told police somebody egged his truck while it was parked in the 100 block of East Street. The egging occurred sometime between Monday and Wednesday, he said.
Vehicles collide
Joshua W. Capps Jr. was eastbound on Vine Street in his pickup June 24, when he collided with a car driven by Adam Foley, who was northbound on Colborn Street.
Neither driver was injured, nor were their passengers, Iola police officers said.
