Pedestrian struck
Iola police officers said Jordan M. Turner was backing from a driveway at 1120 N. Jefferson April 22, when an open door to the sport utility vehicle struck Kelsie L. Finley on April 22.
After further investigation, Turner was arrested for suspected driving while intoxicated and transporting an open container of alcohol.
Finley was treated for possible injuries, officers said.
Gas pump hit
John R. Wallace was pulling a trailer with his vehicle Sunday and was backing his vehicle at Pump N’ Petes, 709 N. State St., when he struck a gas pump.
There were no injuries.
Headphones stolen
Zachary Ulrich told officers Monday a set of Beats earbuds were stolen from him while he was at Iola High School.
