Arrests reported
Iola police officers arrested Christopher Cooper, 31, Iola, for suspicion of felony theft, felony interfering with law enforcement, driving while suspended and reckless driving after officers were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle theft Monday in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.
Officers arrested Kelly Spears Tuesday evening for suspicion of driving under the influence in the 300 block of Wheeler Drive.
Theft alleged
Iola police officers on Wednesday gave Derek Dix a notice to appear in Iola Municipal Court to answer a theft charge from the 1900 block of North State Street.
