Iolan arrested
Iola police officers arrested Roger Dewees, 62, Iola, for suspicion of possessing with intent to distribute marijuana, distributing drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of drugs Saturday in the 200 block of South Third Street.
Vehicles collide
Angel L. Morales, 29, was westbound on U.S. 54 Jan. 11, when his vehicle collided with a car driven by Angelina M. Wallace, 17, who was turning northbound from U.S. 54 onto Jefferson Avenue. Neither driver was injured, nor was a passenger in Wallaces vehicle.
Parked car hit
Austin Rehmert, 19, was backing from a parking stall in the 2000 block of North State Street Jan. 15 when he struck a parked car with his pickup. The car was owned by Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
Citation issued
Iola police cited Nicole Likes, 36, Iola, for suspicion of driving while suspended (third or greater offense) Saturday after spotting her in the 200 block of North Second Street.
