It was Brandi Vest, not Bridget Vest, who was arrested for suspicion of illegal drug possession and child neglect charges in LaHarpe Tuesday afternoon.
Brandi and Timothy Vest were taken into custody after Allen County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant in the 800 block of South Broadway Street.
Bridget Vest’s name was incorrectly reported in Wednesday’s Register.
In a separate matter, deputies also arrested Braden D. Allison, Moran, Wednesday afternoon for suspicion of child abuse, aggravated child endangerment and aggravated battery.
Master Deputy Daren Kellerman said he arrest followed a weeklong, multi-agency investigation involving Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., the Kansas Department of Children and Families and TFI and revolved around a 3-month-old baby.
Kellerman could not disclose any details on possible injuries to the child, but did note the infant had been taken into protective custody.
ON WEDNESDAY evening, Anthony A. Bloomer, 44, Stark, was arrested in Savonburg for a felony warrant out of Muskogee, Okla., stemming from charges of sexual battery, assault and reckless conduct with a firearm.
Kellerman said deputies were called to Savonburg on a landlord/tenant dispute.
Bloomer is currently in the Allen County Jail, awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
