Arrest reported
Iola police officers arrested Weston Smith, 20, Osawatomie, for suspicion of burglary and interfering with law enforcement Tuesday after the officers investigated an incident at Iola Middle School.
Parked car hit
Larry Foster, 77, was backing his pickup in a parking lot May 26 in the 400 block of South Washington Avenue when he struck a parked car owned by Lannette Wood, officers said.
