A theft was reported Jan. 11 in the 400 block of Kansas Drive.

Pump N Pete’s North reported theft Jan. 12 in the 700 block of North State Street.

Theft was reported Jan. 16 in the 900 block of North Chestnut Street.

Theft was reported Jan. 17 in the 600 block of North Jefferson Avenue.

Accidents

On Jan. 4, a vehicle driven by Toby T. Curtis, age 19, left the roadway and struck a curb and sign post while trying to avoid being struck by a Ford pickup driven by an unknown person at U.S. 54 and Kansas Drive.

On Jan. 8, a vehicle driven by Elaina R. Stiffler, 18, was attempting to back up when it collided with a vehicle driven by Thomas E. Chapman, 15, in a parking lot in the 400 block of North Cottonwood Street. 

On Jan. 7, a vehicle driven by Mildred O. Phillips, 53, backed into a vehicle driven by Steven M. Richards, 41, in a parking lot at 709 N. State St.

Arrests

On Jan. 1, Sunny T. Walgren, 36, Iola, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Iola Police Department on two warrants alleging failure to appear, related to charges of transporting an open container and driving under the influence (second offense).

On Jan. 2, Dylan J. Reser, 28, Yates Center, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal vehicle registration.

On Jan. 4, Mandy J. Gardner, 38, Moran, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office on Department of Corrections warrant/detainer related to charges of aggravated child endangerment and rape.

On Jan. 5, Kristy M. Casey, 34, Moran, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Humboldt Police Department on suspicion of driving while suspended (third or greater offense).

On Jan. 7, Steven R. Sinclair, 38, Iola, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office on three warrants alleging failure to appear, related to charges of criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct (three counts), criminal damage to property, battery on a law enforcement officer, and being a pedestrian under the influence.

On Jan. 7, Kevin L. Burgin, 40, Iola, was booked into the Allen County Jail by the Iola Police Department on suspicion of driving while suspended, illegal registration, and no liability insurance.
