Car hits pickup
Dennis Ringwald, 72, was stopped for a traffic light May 11 at the intersection of U.S. 54 and South Jefferson Avenue, when his pickup was struck from behind by a car driven by Bryce Andres, 20.
Neither was injured.
Gas meter hit
Joseph J. Bell, 34, was backing into an alley in the 800 block of North Street Friday, when he struck a gas meter, officers said.
Damage to the vehicle was minimal; the gas meter was replaced.
