Teen hurt in trailer mishap

Micayla B. Moen, 15, was injured Oct. 4 following an incident in which her hand was run over by a trailer, Iola police officers reported.

Officers said the trailer was being towed by Gerald L. Dreher, 56, who was eastbound in the 300 block of East Jackson Avenue. Moen, who was riding on the trailer, either jumped or fell, at which time the trailer ran over her hand.

Officers said Moen suffered a finger injury.

 

Arrests reported

Humboldt police officers arrested Dallis M. Huddleston, 19, Iola, Sunday for suspicion of driving while suspended and possessing marijuana.

Nichole E. Collins, 29, Iola, was arrested by Iola police Sunday for suspicion of domestic battery, battery on a law enforcement officer and interfering with law enforcement.

Allen County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hoyt J. Massingill, 45, Burlington, for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, endangering a child, transporting an open container of alcohol, driving while suspended and trafficking contraband into a correctional facility.

Michael L. Garver, 46, Iola, was arrested by deputies Saturday for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Iola officers arrested Matthew T. Potchen, 25, Chanute, Saturday on three warrants stemming from drug charges out of Neosho County.

Hunter A. Boren, 21, Iola, was booked into Allen County Jail Friday for suspicion of two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer, interfering with law enforcement and for two probation violation warrants.

The LaHarpe Police Department reported the arrest Thursday of Warren J. Odom Jr., 47, LaHarpe, for suspicion of violating the Registered Offender Act and a warrant out of Montgomery County.

Iola officers arrested Kristen N. Kumalae, 24, Iola, for two warrants stemming from misdemeanor traffic charges Wednesday.

Deputies arrested Aaron D. Boudreaux, 28, Chanute, Wednesday on a failure-to-appear warrant related to child abandonment charges.

Howard A. Dillow, 69, rural Iola, was arrested by Iola officers Oct. 8 for suspicion of felony theft after Iola Walmart officials accused him of 69 separate incidents of theft while he was working there. The value of the stolen items was listed at $1,300, officers said.

Deputies arrested Annie J. Tush, 35, Iola, for suspicion of burglary and theft and possessing methamphetamine, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Michael B. Williams, 26, Iola, was arrested by deputies Oct. 8 on a warrant relating to drug charges.

Humboldt police officers arrested Kimberly J. Arnold, 34, Iola, Oct. 8 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Erlyn D. Ramirez, 20, New York, N.Y., was arrested by deputies Oct. 7 for suspicion of driving without a license and no liability insurance.
