Arrests reported
Angela McWhorter, 36, Iola, was arrested Thursday for a warrant out of Johnson County District Court, after Iola police officers spotted her in the 800 block of North Sycamore Street.
Officers arrested Justin Connolly, 37, Iola, for suspicion of disorderly conduct Aug. 3 in the 600 block of North First Street.
Vehicle struck
Virgenia R. Runer, 55, was backing from a parking stall at Pump N Petes in Iola Monday, when she struck a vehicle driven by AllenJones, 40.
Neither was hurt.
Bike stolen
John Ashworth told Iola officers Thursday his Genesis mens bicycle was stolen from his residence in the 500 block of South Buckeye Street.
