Twice arrested

Jason Cole, 35, Chanute, found double trouble in Iola Wednesday.

Cole was arrested by Iola police officers at the intersection of North Washington and Monroe streets for suspicion of driving while suspended, shortly before 7 p.m.

Roughly 40 minutes later, Cole was arrested a second time, at Riverside Park, for suspicion of violating a protection from abuse order.

 

Arrests reported

Allen County sheriff’s deputies arrested Danny J. Walton, 40, Chanute, for suspicion of disorderly conduct Thursday.

Humboldt police officers arrested Rodney L. Rinehart, 52, Humboldt, for suspicion of driving while suspended and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia Thursday.

Iola police officers arrested John Zahm III, 47, Iola, for suspicion of interfering with law enforcement and disorderly conduct Wednesday in the 1200 block of North Cottonwood Street. Zahm also was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Hollis F. Grewing, 38, Iola, was arrested by Iola officers Wednesday for a warrant related to drug charges.

Deputies arrested Timothy L. Toumberlin, 23, Humboldt, Wednesday for suspicion of driving while suspended.

Shawn Reed, 34, Mildred, was arrested by Iola officers Tuesday in the 1400 block of East Street for suspicion of domestic battery.

A disturbance Tuesday led Iola officers to the 500 block of Briarwood Drive, where they arrested Benjamin Lewis, 37, Iola, for suspicion of battery.

Officers arrested Michael Naff, 34, Humboldt, for suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia Tuesday in the 200 block of South State Street.

Deputies arrested Roger E. Maynard Jr., 23, Laharpe, for three warrants related to charges of battery of a law enforcement officer and possessing marijuana Tuesday.
