Arrests reported
Iola police officers arrested Sara Dennis, 19, Iola, Saturday for suspicion of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct in the 400 block of North Jefferson Avenue.
Kandra McCullough, 35, Iola, was arrested by Iola officers Friday for suspicion of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct in the 200 block of North Buckeye Street.
Officers arrested Mitchell Ewy, 25, for suspicion of domestic battery Friday in the 1200 block of North Sycamore Street.
Levi Martin, 32, Independence, was arrested April 22 for suspicion of driving while suspended at the intersection of East Breckenridge and North Ohio Street, officers said.
An incident April 22 in the 1000 block of North Cottonwood Street led to the arrest of John Zahm III, 47, for suspicion of disorderly conduct in a domestic setting, interfering with law enforcement and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Weedeater taken
Katrina Springer told officers Saturday somebody stole a weedeater from the 300 block of North Jefferson Avenue.
Bike theft reported
Eddie Radford told officers Saturday somebody stole a bicycle from his residence in the 10 block of North Third Street.
Break-in reported
George Rose told Iola police officers Sunday somebody broke into Payless Concrete in the 800 block of North Industrial Road.
Parking lot troubles
Amanda K. Cation, 43, was turning from a parking stall April 16 when she struck a concrete post at Iola Walmart.
On April 17, Austin C. Honaker, 33, was backing from a parking stall at G&W Foods, 802 E. Madison, when he struck a parked vehicle owned by James Farley.
Also at G&W, Sheryl D. Ponder, 52, was backing from a parking stall April 19 when she collided with a passing vehicle driven by Christopher W. Craft, 37.
An unknown motorist struck a shed April 22 at Caseys General Store, 712 E. Madison Ave., and left the scene without reporting the accident, officers said.
Kristyn H. Welkel, 28, was backing from a parking stall at Russell Stover Candies Tuesday when she struck a passing car driven by Kristen N. Kumalae, officers said.
None of the accidents resulted in injury.
