Incidents
On Dec. 4, a Chanute woman was bitten by a dog in the 100 block of Cardinal Drive.
On Nov. 30, an Iola High School student reported his vehicle had been broken into. A suspect was identified.
Theft
On. Dec. 4, items were reported stolen from storage units in the 1500 block of East Monroe.
On Dec. 6, several items were reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of East Street.
On Dec. 6, a burglary was reported at Frank’s Body Shop in the 200 block of West Street.
Arrest
On Dec. 7, Canon Cavender, 18, of Yates Center, was cited for theft at Walmart, 2200 N. State St.
On. Nov. 27, Brianna Pfeifer, age 27, of Michigan, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at Super 8 Motel, 200 block of Bills Way.
On Nov. 27, Michelle Stewart of Moran was cited for theft at Walmart, 2200 N. State St.
Accidents
On Nov. 29, a vehicle driven by Jason Hoy rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kaisha Melendez on U.S. 54.
