Battery reported
Paul Porter told Iola police officers of a battery that occurred Friday morning in the 200 block of North First Street. A suspect was identified, officers said, and charges are being sought.
License plate stolen
Officers received a report from JW Auto Cars Friday that a license plate was stolen from a trailer in the 400 block of North State Street.
