Retired Allen Community College president John Masterson will talk about the college’s history at the Allen County Historical Society’s annual business meeting on Monday at the Stadler Room at ACC.
The business meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by Masterson’s presentation at 7.
Allen is celebrating its centennial anniversary.
Masterson started his career at Allen in the counseling department. He also coached baseball for the Red Devils baseball team.
After a short break from ACC to work at the Allen County State Bank, he would return to Allen as the dean of students and athletic director. He was named vice president in 1988 and president in 1992. He retired in 2022.
The event is free to attend, and the historical society will provide snacks and refreshments.
