Lori Nelson and John Joiner, both of Basehor, are happy to announce their engagement to be married. The couple will unite in marriage on Nov. 8, 2014, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola. The reception will be at The Foundation in Kansas City, Mo.
Lori is the daughter of Delbert and Eddyra Nelson, Iola. John is the son of Bob Joiner, Austin, Texas, and the late Karen Joiner.
Lori is a school counselor at Clark Middle School, Bonner Springs. John is the general manager at Cavender’s Western Outfitter, Kansas City, Kan.
