Kyra Ames, Quakertown, Pa., and Tyler Ringwald, Enid, Okla., were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 24, 2014, in Quakertown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russell Atkinson, Quakertown, Pa., officiated.
Kyra is the daughter of Michael and Donna Ames, Quakertown, and the granddaughter or James Renninger, Perkasie, Pa., and Alice Kelemen, Ladylake, Fla.
Tyler is the son of Dennis and Beth Ringwald, Iola. He is the grandson of Ethel Ringwald, Ellinwood, and Albert Martens, Coldwater.
Kyra’s maid of honor was Emma Steeley, Souderton, Pa. Her bridesmaids were Angela McKirryher, Seymour, Conn., Amy Lewis, Colorado Springs, Colo., Elizabeth Clark, Abilene, Texas, and Lauren Graham, Bethesda, Md.
Tyler’s best man was John Sigg, Iola. His groomsmen were Jared Jaime, Las Vegas, Nev., Kevin Allum, Clovis, N.M., David Clark, Abilene, Texas, and Josh Mueller, Iola.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.
Kyra is a 2013 graduate of the university of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a bachelor of science in nursing. She currently is employed as an ICU nurse at Intergris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid, Okla.
Tyler is a 2011 graduate of the United State Air Force Academy with a bachelor of science in systems engineering management. He serves active duty in the Air Force as a T-6 instructor pilot stationed at Vance AFB in Enid.
