The Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Maui, Hawaii was the setting for the Aug. 23, 2014, wedding of Kate Stanley and Wayne Lemmer, Los Angeles.
Kate is the daughter of MaryAnn Howland and Steve Stanley, Iola. She graduated from Iola High school in 2002 and is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She is currently the Senior Fashion Designer for the Bobi BLACK label based in Los Angeles. Kate’s wedding dress was a design from her Spring 2014 line.
Wayne is the son of Frank and Dawn Lemmer, Ilderton, Ontario, Canada. Wayne works as a supervising sound editor for 20th Century Fox Studios.
Following the beach wedding Kate and Wayne treated their guests to a feast at LeLe Luau. Special guests attending the wedding were grandparents of the bride, Carl and Mary Ellen Stanley, Iola. The couple honeymooned at the Four Seasons Hotel also in Maui.
