The Kappa Alpha Chapter of Phi Tau Omega Sorority held its August social at Community National Bank Monday, with Colleen Ellis and Janet Wilson hosting 15 members.
Brian and Lindsey Shaughnessy educated the group on various wines that are popular locally. The assortment of wines began with sweet dessert wines and ended with a dry wine that is more of an acquired taste.
The next business meeting is Sept. 9 at the bank.
