Humboldt students bring history to life

Humboldt Middle School seventh-grade history students portrayed famous Kansans in history as part of their living wax museum program Wednesday.

The students were given about a month to prepare a short presentation on their subjects, complete with costumes. The catch ? they were required to pose motionless ? until visitors dropped a quarter into their respective collection boxes, triggering their presentations. The students were required to make the boxes as well. Guiding the project was instructor Scott Brady.

This year was the fourth annual event. Proceeds went to a class after-party.
