Holly Comstock, Humboldt, and James Akers, Douglass, were married at 5 p.m. April 26, 2014, in the Comstocks’ backyard. Jeff Feagins was the officiating minister.
Holly is the daughter of Jeff and Tami Comstock, Humboldt. She is the granddaughter of the late Paul and Shirley Sicka, Piqua, and Raymond and Shelby Comstock, Iola.
James is the son of Bill and Vicki Akers, Douglass. He is the grandson of Wanda and Jim Thornton, Wellington, and Jane and Stan Pata, Wichita.
Edye Newkirk, Iola, was the maid of honor and Brett Kepley, Salina, was the best man.
Holly is a baby sitter and James works at Gates. The couple will reside in Humboldt.
