The family of Harry and Joyce Lee plan to celebrate their 60th anniversary with an open house celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1420 E. Carpenter St.
They were married Dec. 21, 1958, at the LaHarpe Methodist Church by Alvin S. Whittemore.
Their children are Cathy and Kevin Fields, Monument, Colo.; David and Tracy Lee, LaHarpe; Dr. Bruce and Jennifer Lee, Chanute; Shari and Dr. Albert Mendez, DDS, Pittsburg; Kevin and Ladina Lee, LaHarpe; Amber and Ryan Barney, Chelsea, Mich.; and Jason Lee, LaHarpe. They have 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The couple lives in LaHarpe.
