A pair of familiar faces will be a part of Thursday’s Allen County Farmers Market activities in downtown Iola.

Kathy McEwan, family and consumer sciences agent for the Southwind Extension District, will be on hand at about 5:45 p.m. at her food demonstration table.

Meanwhile, Humboldt crooner Brenda Clark is back by popular demand to serenade the customers and vendors.

Around the Corner also will have a booth set up for iced coffee and lemonade, as well as orders for salads and sandwiches.

Thursday’s market runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue along the downtown square.

The scene shifts to downtown Humboldt from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, with a wide variety of baked goods and fresh produce on sale, as well as numerous hand-crafted items.

Saturday’s market runs from 8 to 11 a.m. at Humboldt’s downtown square.

A wide variety of products also is available at the Tuesday Market from to 4:30 p.m. in the parking lot in the shopping plaza at 700 N. State St.

Vendors at all three location accept EBT and debit cards and participate in the Double Up Food Bucks Program.

The Farmers Market is sponsored by From the Land of Kansas and the Health Forward Foundation.
