Rene Hensley, daughter of Rick and Paula Hensley of Coffeyville, and Shane Stanley, son of Randy and Becky Stanley of Humboldt, announce their engagement and plans to marry Jan. 15 in Coffeyville.
The bride-elect is a Field Kindley High School graduate and recently earned her master of arts degree in literature from Pittsburg State University. She teaches English at Independence High School.
The groom-to-be is a Humboldt High School graduate and recently earned his bachelor of science technology degree in commercial graphics from Pittsburg State. He works for DocuCentral in Wichita.
The couple plan to make their home in Coffeyville.
