Brad and Janal Piley, Humboldt, and Ronnie and Janell Yelm, Iola, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Whitney Ann Piley and Jarick Leon Yelm.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Humboldt High School and attended Labette County Community College for 1 1/2 years. She is employed by Meridian Group in Humboldt.
The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Iola High School. He is employed by Herff Jones in Iola.
The couple are planning a Sept. 17 wedding at First Baptist Church in Humboldt.
