Crystal LaGalle, Colony, and John A Coakley, Kansas City, are planning a May 28 wedding in Kansas City.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Leon and Diane LaGalle, Colony. She has a doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and master of business administration from Rockhurst University. She earned a bachelor of science degree from Pittsburg State University and an associate of arts degree from Allen County Community College. She is a medical resident in internal medicine at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
The groom-to-be is the son of John L. and Agnes Coakley, Kansas City. He has a bachelor of arts degree from Benedictine College. He is employed as a teacher and head coach for girls varsity basketball at St. Piux X Catholic High School.
