George Collins, Piqua, and Ann Collins, Buckeye, Ariz., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Andrea Collins, to Robert Perez, both of Goodyear, Ariz., son of Elaine Gabaldon, Chula Vista, Calif.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Yates Center High School. She is employed with The Shaw Group at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in Tonopah, Ariz., as a scheduler.
The groom-to-be is a 1993 graduate of Central High School in Phoenix, Ariz. He joined the military right out of high school. After the military he became a crane operator and he is employed by Arizona Public Service at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
The couple are planning a May 19 wedding at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz., with a reception to follow. A reception will also follow in Yates Center on June 16.
