Engaged
Kacie Shadden, Els-more, and Derrick Carr, Moran, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The couple will be married on April 14, 2018 at Lil Toledo Lodge in Chanute.
Kacie is the daughter of Steve and Janet Shad-den, Elsmore. Her grandparents are Max and Bethel Ludlum, Elsmore, and the late Harry Shad-den and the late Colleen Cowden, Fort Scott.
She is a 2013 graduate of Marmaton Valley High School and a graduate of Mary Grimes School of Nursing at NCCC and Mid America Nazarene University School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola.
Derrick is the son of Richard and Debra Carr, Moran. His grandparents are Berdean and the late Harold Wall, Moran, the late Jean Carr, Welda, and the late Gene Carr, Florida.
Derrick is a 2012 graduate of Marmaton Valley High School and a graduate of Allen County Community College. Derrick works for the City of Iola.
