Miss Chelsea’s Dance Academy members recently attended the Talent on Parade and Dance Champs competitions.
The local dance troupe racked up three fifth-place awards, five for fourth, six for third and seven for second place. Five dancers received first-place awards.
MCDA members also received six special awards, including most creative, most entertaining and for technique.
Dancers attending the events were Sydney Ebberts, Maddie McDermeit, Blayke Patterson, Evei Schooler, Kinsey Schinstock, Dallyn McGraw, Cara Porter, Brandi Taylor, Kalyn Baughn, Baylie Crooks, Laney Hull, Averie Sharon, Shelby Peters, Hallie McDermeit, Jadyn Kaufman, Noah Anderson and Kylea Taylor.
With the competition portion of the 2020-21 season complete, the dance studio is focusing on its year-end recital, “The Big Blue World” in June.
