Cynthia Melia Brown, Iola, and Alin Eugene Martin, Walnut, will unite in marriage on Oct. 11, 2014, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Humboldt.
Cynthia is the daughter of Bob and Mary Brown, Iola. She is a graduate of Park Hill High School, Kansas City, Mo., and Park College, Parkville, Mo. She has her master’s in social work from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Cynthia is employed at Hope Unlimited.
Alin is the son of Alvin and Patricia (Patti) Martin. He is a graduate of Erie High School and has served in the Kansas National Guard for 22 years. He is an equipment operator for Neosho County and is a farmer.
