COLONY The Crest Education Foundation met Thursday to discuss several administrative tasks that lie ahead, as well as a pair of fundraisers.
The Youve Been Flocked update noted 39 homes have been involved to raise money.
The second annual CEF Co-ed Softball Tournament is set for April 27 in Kincaid. A full slate of eight teams has been registered. Additional teams will be put on a backup list. Sponsors have until Wednesday to be included. Members discussed designs for T-shirts that will be presented to the winning team. A raffle also is scheduled. Foundation members set up work schedules to assist with the days events.
Members also discussed setting up a regular newsletter, teaching grants for the fall and a run/walk fundraiser for September. Trivia Night is planned for Nov. 9.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. May 2 in the Colony City Hall Community Room. All district patrons are invited.
