Christian Church
Howard Reiter gave the Communion Meditation on Ecclesiastes 9:11-12, reminding us that tragedy can strike at any time. We need to always remember not to lean on our own strength and understanding, but on Gods. Pastor Chase Riebel gave the sermon on week five of Believe series: Identity in Christ, asking Who am I? God identifies us as his own, placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
Mens Bible study is at 7 a.m. Tuesday. A meal and prayer time is at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by the youth Believe study at 7. (Kids are welcome to come to the church at 4:30.)
The Believe small groups are up and running with four groups to choose from. Books are available for purchase at the church. Groups are on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Hidden Havens Womens Retreat is Friday and Saturday. We will fill our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes next month. Please start collecting items. The Hidden Havens website has a list of acceptable items.
