Three Iola High School choir and orchestra students received ratings on their solos at the Regional Music Solo Competition on Saturday, April 2, at Pittsburg State University.
The students were rated by a judge from I-V, with I being the highest rating.
Macie Hoag, junior, received a I rating on her vocal solos. She has qualified for the State Solo Music competition on Saturday, April 30.
Kalibre Smith, sophomore, received a I rating on his violin solo. He has qualified for the State Solo Music competition as well.
Briahna Stiffler, junior, received a II rating for her vocal solos.
