Chelsea Denise Marquardt, Pittsburg, and Jake Louis Rourk, Pittsburg, are happy to announce their engagement to be married at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsburg.
Chelsea is the daughter of Michell Carson and Jon Marquardt, both of Parsons. She is a graduate of Parsons High School and Labette Community College. She is at Adventist University for her bachelors in arts in diagnostic sciences. She is employed at Via Christi as a radiology technologist.
Jake is the son of Connie and Kevin Rourk, Iola. He is a graduate of Iola High School and is attending Pittsburg State University. He works for University recreation and landscaping.
