Celebrating volunteerism

Prairie Rose 4-H members marked their 48 Hours of Volunteer event this month.  Club members made fleece blankets for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.; donated canned goods to a local food bank; and made chew toys and collected items to be used for rescue animals at the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility.
