Pastor Steve Traw’s message at Sunday’s service was “When the Going Gets Tough,” taken from II Thessalonians 1.

The Apostle Paul urges believers at Thessalonia to continue growing in their faith and faithfulness, Traw said. Paul assures them their persecutors will not go unpunished. Judgment will strike them either in this life or in the life to come.

Church activities can be followed via Facebook.

Pianist Myrna Wildschuetz played “At the Crossing” for the prelude and “Holy Highway” for the offertory.

Beverly Hawk celebrated her birthday on Sunday. Richard Klingensmith will celebrate his on Saturday.

A fellowship dinner followed the service.

Pastor Traw leads weekly Bible study at 3 p.m. Tuesdays on the Book of Ezekiel.
