Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday, “Heaven and Earth at War,” was taken from Revelation Chapter 12.

The woman in Revelation 12:1 is an apocalyptic symbol which symbolizes Israel, the nation that gave birth to the Messiah. Heaven and earth are at war when Michael the archangel and his angels expel Satan and his fallen angelic powers from the second heaven to the earth. Now, Satan realizes his reign on earth is short and he prepares to unleash his wrath on Israel and all who are keeping God’s commandments and confessing that they belong to Jesus (Rev. 12 10-17).

Myrna Wildschuetz played “I Saw the Light” for the prelude and Rita Sanders played “Give Thanks” for the offertory.

Celebrating her birthday Friday was Patty Herschberger. Ron and Rosie Stranghoner celebrated their anniversary on Wednesday.

The Rev. Tom Bevard and Richard Klingensmith sang “Bring Then In” and were accompanied by Wildschuetz on the piano.

Bible Study with Pastor Traw on the book of John is at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
