“Trumpets of The Tribulation” was the title of Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday, taken from Revelation Chapter 9.

Pianist, Myrna Wildschuetz played “Can’t You Feel His Presence” for the prelude and Rita Sanders played “Be Thou My Vision” for the offertory.

Rev. Tom Bevard sang “The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power.”

Merrill Hodgden and Vivian Noah celebrated their birthdays Wednesday. 

The church fellowship dinner followed the morning service.

Bible study with Pastor Traw on the book of John is at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Around town

Visiting Jim Hinson and Joanne McIntyre Oct. 19 were Jim’s son, David and wife Vicky, from Columbus, Georgia. After lunch, they  visited with Bill and Terry Luttrell. 

The Harmony society ladies recently had a luncheon and visited at Pizza Hut. Attending were  Joanne McIntyre, Paulie Hawk, Rita Sanders and Dixie Bunch.
