Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday was “Our Sunday Best,” taken from Revelation 3:1-6.   This was the sixth in a series of messages taken from Revelation.

Pianist Myrna Wildschuetz played “Consider the Lilies” for the prelude and organist Rita Sanders played “Alleluia, Alleluia” for the offertory.

The Rev. Tom Bevard sang “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” accompanied by Myrna.

Bob and Rosa Shaughnessy celebrated their wedding anniversary Monday..

Bible study with Pastor Traw on the book of John is at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Country Club.

The Carlyle Ladies Country Club met in the Carlyle Fellowship Hall with hostesses Joanne McIntyre and Rita Sanders. Also attending were Naomi Chambers, Pat Heinz, Jeanice Cress, Pauli Hawk, Joyce Sneed, Cheryl Klingensmith, Alice Dowell, Pat Shields, Phyllis Loomis, Myrna Wildschuetz, June O’Dell and guests Wanda Kneen, Leanne Brixey, Betty Elliott and Richard Klingensmith.

Wanda, program director for Senior Life Solutions, gave a program on addressing the emotional behavioral health of adults 65 and older. Her emphasis was on depression in seniors. September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Anyone wishing to contact Wanda can do so through Allen County Regional Hospital, 365-1280.

Myrna won the door prize.     

Alice Dowell will host the September meeting.
